What is turnover?
Turnover (also called valid bet or rollover) is the total amount you have staked across all your bets, win or lose. It is not your profit or your balance — it is how much you have put into play.
For example:
- You deposit ₱1,000.
- You place ten ₱100 bets on slots. Some win, some lose, and you end the session with ₱950 left.
- Your turnover is ₱1,000 (10 bets × ₱100), not ₱950.
The result of each bet does not matter for turnover — a ₱100 winning spin and a ₱100 losing spin both count as ₱100 turnover.
Turnover, valid bet, rollover — same thing?
Three words for the same idea:
- Turnover: common in Asian casinos and sportsbooks.
- Valid bet: the stake that counts toward a requirement. A cancelled or refunded bet is not valid, so it adds zero turnover.
- Rollover: common in bonus terms. “5× rollover” means you must stake five times the bonus amount before you can withdraw.
On PH28, the term you will see most often is turnover, and it always means the same thing: total amount staked.
Why do casinos track turnover?
Turnover is how online casinos measure activity. It answers the question: how much are you playing, regardless of whether you are winning or losing right now?
Casinos use turnover to:
- Set requirements for bonus withdrawal — you must play through the bonus a certain number of times before cashing out.
- Calculate VIP level — the more you stake over time, the higher your tier and rewards.
- Qualify referrals — your invited friend must reach a minimum turnover before you both receive the referral bonus.
In short: turnover proves you are playing, not just depositing and withdrawing.
Turnover example with ₱3,000
PH28 requires ₱3,000 turnover for a referred player to qualify for the invite bonus. Here is how that works in practice:
| Session | Bet size | Spins or rounds | Turnover added | Running total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | ₱50 | 20 | ₱1,000 | ₱1,000 |
| Day 2 | ₱100 | 15 | ₱1,500 | ₱2,500 |
| Day 3 | ₱50 | 10 | ₱500 | ₱3,000 |
After 45 rounds across three days, the player has met the ₱3,000 turnover requirement. It does not matter whether those 45 rounds resulted in a net win or loss — only that ₱3,000 was staked in total.
How PH28 counts turnover
Every real-money bet you place on PH28 adds to your turnover, with a few exceptions:
- Slots, fishing games, and most table games count at 100% — a ₱100 bet adds ₱100 turnover.
- Some live casino games may count at a lower percentage (for example, baccarat or roulette might count 50%), especially when clearing a bonus. Check the bonus terms for the exact weighting.
- Cancelled or voided bets do not count.
- Demo or fun mode does not count — only real-money play.
Your current turnover is not shown in a single number on the account page, but you can see progress bars for specific goals like VIP level or active bonus requirements.
Turnover and bonus withdrawal
When you claim a bonus on PH28, you cannot withdraw it immediately. You must first meet the rollover requirement — typically stated as a multiplier like 5×, 10× or 20×.
For example, if you receive a ₱200 bonus with a 10× rollover:
- Required turnover = ₱200 × 10 = ₱2,000.
- You must place ₱2,000 in valid bets before the bonus converts to withdrawable cash.
This is standard across online casinos. It prevents players from claiming a bonus, immediately cashing out, and never playing. The rollover ensures you use the bonus as intended: to play.
Turnover is not a target
Meeting a turnover requirement is fine when it is part of a bonus or referral you chose to claim. But chasing turnover for its own sake — playing more than your budget allows just to reach a number — is where problems start.
Set your budget first, then play within it. If that brings you to a VIP milestone or clears a bonus, that is a side benefit. Turnover is a measurement, not a goal.

Frequently asked questions
What does turnover mean in an online casino?
Turnover is the total amount you have staked across all bets, win or lose. It is not your profit or balance, just how much you have put into play.
Is turnover the same as valid bet?
Yes. Valid bet means the stake that counts toward a requirement — a cancelled or refunded bet is not valid, so it adds zero turnover.
How much turnover do I need for the PH28 referral bonus?
₱3,000 turnover. Your invited friend must stake that amount in valid bets before you both receive the referral bonus.
Does a losing bet count toward turnover?
Yes. Turnover counts the amount staked, not the result. A ₱100 losing spin and a ₱100 winning spin both add ₱100 turnover.
Can I see my current turnover on PH28?
Your total lifetime turnover is not shown as a single number, but you can see progress bars for VIP level and active bonus requirements on your account page.
